Hawthorne has released four full-length albums, on various labels including Stones Throw Records, Republic Records and Vagrant Records, one of which earned him a Grammy nomination.
In addition to handling the lion’s share of production across his vast catalog, Mayer also played damn near every instrument on every album and penned every song. Apart from his solo work, he collaborates with hip-hop producer Jake One on their boogie funk super-group, Tuxedo, which is now three albums and multiple world tours deep. As an always-evolving artist with years of experience under his belt, Mayer continues to focus his talents in new directions, his latest progression being a foray into the world of producing and writing for other artists.
