As an actor, singer, host, and songwriter, he shared the stage with some of the world's celebrated performers. Oscar Hernandez, Lalo Guerrero, Bruno Mars , Los Van Van, Celia Cruz, & Anderson .Paak.

He toured for many years with the Grammy award-winning band Quetzal from East Los Ángeles. Gabriel took part in the musical “In the Heights” by acclaimed composer Lin-Manuel Miranda as a principal character on the North American National Tour. Currently, he is working in the salsa community in California with bands such as Boogaloo Assassins, Gabrielito y La Verdad & La Verdad Band.
